Namag cautions recipients of fraudulent employment solicitations

 

We have learned that individuals have received job offers or interview invitations from organizations falsely pretending to recruit on behalf of Namag or by people claiming to work for, or be affiliated with, a Namag company. These propositions notify individuals that their qualifications were found suitable to work as an employee for Namag and they may solicit the transfer of money to pay for work permits, insurance policies, etc.; or they may solicit bank account information from individuals with an offer to advance money for travel or training.

 

Please note that Namag and the organizations that recruit on our behalf never ask for any money or payments from applicants at any point in the recruitment process. We will never ask applicants for personal information such as bank account numbers. All individuals who are successful in gaining an offer of employment from Namag, whether directly or indirectly, are always required to go through a formal recruitment process.

 

Please note that these communications are fraudulent. They do not originate from Namag and they are not associated with Namag’s recruitment process.

 

What to do…

 

·    Do not respond to unsolicited business propositions or job offers from people or e-mail addresses you do not know or trust.
·    Do not disclose your personal or financial details to anyone you do not know or trust or on a website you do not trust. If you have

      disclosed this information to somebody you do not know or trust or to a website you do not trust, consider reporting the incident to your

      local law enforcement.
·    Be on the lookout for suspicious signs such as communications from non-Namag e-mail addresses (e.g., from a yahoo.com address,

      e-mails from a domain other than namag.com)
